Dream Threads

Last night I had a crazy dream. I dreamt that I was in my room getting ready for bed when all of a sudden my bedroom window opened and this guy came in demanding for my phone. Terrified I gave it to him and he started shining a light in my eye, blinding me. Falling backwards I smash my head into something. I let out a wail and touch my head. It’s wet with blood. I fall onto my bed and cry out of terror and pain. The bright light turns off, leaving me laying there blinking away the colors swirling around in front of me. The man comes in focus and steps toward me. “Maybe you should listen to me next time.” He tells me with anger lacing his voice. Confused, I slowly nod my head at him and he disappears. I rub my face and look around for him but he’s nowhere to be seen. Shrugging my shoulders, I go to sleep. But the weird thing is my hair was plastered down against my head and my head was throbbing. Oh! And my eyes were puffy and red when I woke up this morning. And the other weird thing is there is a slight chill in the air…..
